ENGLISH — EPHESUS & PAMUKKALE BY OVERNIGHT BUS

Explore the ancient streets of Ephesus and the white terraces of Pamukkale on two guided sightseeing days, with one hotel night in Kuşadası. The outbound and return overnight bus journeys extend the trip across four calendar dates. English or Spanish guiding is available.

DAY 1 — Overnight Journey from Istanbul

Make your way to the Istanbul Esenler Bus Terminal for an evening departure, typically between 8:00 and 10:00 PM. Settle into your intercity coach for the approximately ten-hour overnight journey to Kuşadası. The booking date is the date this outbound bus departs. Overnight on the bus; no hotel night tonight.

DAY 2 — Ephesus & a Night in Kuşadası

On arrival at Kuşadası bus terminal, meet your driver for the transfer to our local office and join your guided Ephesus tour. Begin at the remains of the Temple of Artemis, once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Explore Ephesus’s ancient streets, the Library of Celsus, Temple of Hadrian, baths, theatre and old harbour area. Pause for lunch at a local restaurant, then visit the House of the Virgin Mary. Afterwards, transfer to your selected hotel and enjoy free time in Kuşadası. Lunch included. Overnight in Kuşadası.

DAY 3 — Pamukkale, Hierapolis & Return Bus

After breakfast, pickup is scheduled around 7:30–8:00 AM for the journey to Pamukkale. Discover the white travertine terraces and the ancient city of Hierapolis. Where access is permitted, walk on the terraces; a swim in Cleopatra’s Pool is optional and costs extra. Lunch is included at a local restaurant. Afterwards, transfer to our office and enjoy free time before your late-evening bus departure. Transfer to the local terminal for the approximately ten-hour overnight journey back to Istanbul. Breakfast and lunch included. Overnight on the bus.

DAY 4 — Arrival in Istanbul

Arrive at Istanbul bus terminal in the morning, where the package ends. Onward transport to Sultanahmet or your hotel is not included; ask your tour consultant about available options. This package contains two guided sightseeing days, one hotel night and two overnight coach journeys across four calendar dates.

Infants under two travel free without a separate transport seat or extra bed; ages 2–5 receive 50% discount and ages 6–11 receive 25% discount. Ages 12+ pay the adult rate. Book at least two days before departure. Automatic confirmation and full payment in one transaction. English or Spanish guiding is available; indicate your preference when booking. Maximum sightseeing group size: 15 guests. From 1 March through 31 October every year, prices increase by 10%. Hotels listed may be replaced by hotels of similar quality.

Choose the date your outbound overnight bus leaves Istanbul. Two guided sightseeing days and one hotel night are included; with both overnight bus journeys, the programme spans four calendar dates. Make your own way to the Istanbul Esenler Bus Terminal. The bus company, platform and departure schedule will be provided before travel. Return transport from Istanbul terminal to your hotel or Sultanahmet is not included. Archaeological sites and travertine terraces have uneven surfaces. Cleopatra Pool swimming is optional and costs extra.

Cancellation must be requested in writing by email. More than 7 days before departure: full refund (no cancellation fee). 7 days or less, but more than 2 days before departure: 30% cancellation fee and 70% refund. 2 days or less before departure, or no-show: 100% cancellation fee and no refund.
